In addition to the original waffle, we twisted our recipe to provide more variety and fun for our customers! We also serve Matcha green tea base waffle and double chocolate base waffle. Each bubble has a crispy outer shell and only half-filled dough chewy inside to make it fluffy. Original Hong Kong egg waffles are golden yellow in color. Bubble egg waffles are shaped to have the bubble effect by baking the batter in a specialized honeycomb machine. Hong Kong’s egg waffle (aka ‘Gai Daan Zai’ in Cantonese) has been one of the most iconic Hong Kong Street snacks since the 1950s.
